Q: How far are you from town centre?
A: We are 1.2km’s from the CBD.
Q: How long does it take to get to you from Melbourne?
A: It takes about 1hr,15mins
Q: Are you close to the lake?
A: We are a 9min stroll or a couple of minutes drive to Lake Daylesford
Q: Do you have a pool?
A: No, but we are minutes from Lake Daylesford’s fabulous swimming areas.
Q: What amenities do you have?
A: We offer a fabulous children’s playground, 2 camp kitchens, outdoor patio with gas fire, laundry and 24 hour self check-in kiosk.
Q: Is the Daylesford Holiday Park suitable for families?
A: Yes, we pride ourselves on a quiet, safe and friendly environment. We have a modern playground and large wide open spaces.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, at management discretion. We have pet friendly Bark Royal accommodation especially designed to share with your pet, however health regulations do not allow pets in other cabins. Please read the Pet Friendly page for more information.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: Not permitted in cabins, food preparation areas and children’s play areas.
Q: Are there barbecue facilities?
A: Yes, there are free stainless steel barbecues in the park.
Q: What shops are in Daylesford?
A: You are definitely spoilt for choice in Daylesford from supermarkets to eclectic and speciality shops. We have a Coles and independent supermarkets, and a selection of butcher, baker and chemist shops. There many other stores selling clothing, jewellery, books, giftware and other goods.
Accommodation
Q: Do you supply bedding?
A: All cabins have bedding provided to the master bedroom, including towels, bathmats hand towels and toiletries. Extra bedding is available for $20 per bed if required.
Q: Do the cabins have TV?
A: Yes, all have flat screen TV’s.
Q: Can I park my car at the cabin?
A: Every cabin has a car parking spot next to it.
Q: Are the cabins airconditioned?
A: All 2 bedroom cabins have reverse cycle air conditioners.
Q: Is smoking allowed in the cabins?
A: No. Although smoking is permitted on Cabin decks.
Dining
Q: Do you have a restaurant?
A: No but there are many fine eateries in Daylesford including quality restaurants hotels, bakeries and restaurants.
Arrival and Departure
Q: What time is check in?
A: Check in is from 2pm.
Q: Check out is 10.00am?
A: Check-out from your Cabin is 10am, 11am for Powered Sites.
Q: Do you have late checkouts?
A: Yes, for a small fee and on request.
Q: What if I arrive after reception is closed?
A: There is a 24hr automated kiosk at Reception where you can book a cabin or powered site.
Q: When do I pay?
A: A payment deposit of the 1st nights fee is expected on booking.
